I used to wonder about 1930s Germany ... how could it have happened? Now I know how it happened -- by witnessing the events of the past 3 years. And no doubt will happen again. The last 3 years demonstrated to me how most people just go along when given orders. If made to be very afraid, people will do just about any absurd, evil thing! Critical thinking is not taught in school, and is very rare. Most just comply. Thanks. Very well done.
These are absolutely RIGHT ON TARGET! Unfortunately, these INFURIATING tendencies ALL apply to my husband who has left me after 24 yrs bc he simply CAN'T handle the message I have been sending for three years....DO NOT COMPLY!!!!! He jabbed one of our kids and literally can not see it. HATES risk, rocking the boat, being difficult for people, making people uncomfortable, is of little faith, trusts the authorities, can't stand conflict or standing out as difficult, and I am raising two boys with him! They are getting VERY different messages from me and this is SOOO incredibly painful!!
