THE MISCONSTRUCTION OF JIHAD

A PROPAGANDA TOOL

There is a deep misunderstanding of the term 'Jihad' due to its misuse or instrumentalisation to advance nefarious agendas.

If you understand its real meaning, you won't be a victim of propaganda.

'Jihad' means to strive ... to work hard to reach a higher goal.

"The “Greater Jihad” is the struggle against the lower self – the struggle to purify one’s heart, do good, avoid evil and make oneself a better person."

"The “Lesser Jihad” is an outward struggle. Jihad constitutes a moral principle to struggle against any obstacle that stands in the way of the good."

like speaking the truth when it's unpopular

or taking a stand against injustice or defending the weakest in society...

"Jihad may also involve fighting against oppressors and aggressors who commit injustice."

"The Arabic word “qital,” which is a part of jihads, derives from the word [Qatel], meaning to kill"

Wars were used to spread Islam (as all religions do) but mainly in selfdefense or against pagan rulers who prevented people from adopting monotheism

Only about 1000 people died (including both sides) during the wars undertaken by the prophet who observed a strict moral code for conducting wars (see page 14)- most importantly NO CIVILIANS TO BE KILLED.

If civilians are NOT to be killed in times of war, is it possible that Islam allows the killing of innocent civilians in times of peace (as in terrorist attacks)?

Of course not!

Any terrorist attack in the name of Islam taking place nowadays is in complete breach of primary principles:

1. "Thou shall not kill" also applies in Islam

2. First Do no harm

3. Being merciful

& most of the core principles taught in Judaism & Christianity

4. No Coercion in religion based on this verse from the Quran:

"I don’t worship what you worship, neither are you worshippers of what I worship... To you, your religion, and to me, mine."

5. Respecting and defending non-muslim places of worship is a duty for all muslims (as practiced during the time of the prophet)

So my dear friends,

When you see a suicide bomber or churches being burned or a crazy person stabbing kids in a playground, please remember that Islam comes from the root word 'SALAM' which means PEACE.

I urge you to remain open to the following 2 possibilities to explain such outlier behaviours by these psychologically disturbed useful idiots:

1. they are controlled by extremist groups with a political agenda mainly motivated by greed and power and NOT by Islam

2. they are controlled by higher powers (possibly your governments or the global government) who use the same old tactic of divide and conquer- create an enemy to usher in more control measures over their own population (like all the control measures put in place after 9/11)

Fabricated enemies are essential to keep the population in fear and distracted:

terrorist enemies

invisible enemies like Sars-Cov-2

and when all else fails, weird alien enemies ...

They are getting more and more creative.

I invite all people of faith to look beyond minute philosophical differences and to strive or do Jihad for a higher cause: to bring back humanity and virtues to a world that has been captured by materialism, relativism, transhumanism and other destructive isms.
