My mission is to help improve the health and wellbeing of people around the world. My aim is to design a low cost, highly scalable holistic digital health program (that encompasses physical, mental, social and spiritual aspects of wellbeing)
The Switch Challenge has 3 simple components:
Simple switch ideas towards health and wellbeing accompanied by:
basic information (only the necessary knowledge) about nutrition and exercise
resources for personal growth at the mental and emotional levels
A life crafting exercise to allow participants to find purpose and meaning in their lives and set their own actions
A social support group
I would like to offer to run an online group FOR FREE FOR THE FIRST COHORT. This will allow individuals who are interested in improving their health and wellbeing to get some support along their journey and it will allow me to design the program better as I get insight and feedback from the cohort participants.
What you can expect:
I can do presentations about
Introduction to the switch challenge
Carbohydrates
Proteins
Fats
Cooking and cookware
Toxic load
Other if needed based on your feedback
I can curate weekly content to break down the components of the program so you will have weekly homework (to do an exercise or watch a video or take an action)
I can provide a weekly online zoom meeting (for the presentations, feedback sessions, discussion groups)
We can figure out the best platform for communication, discussions and support (Telegram, Facebook private group, SLACK …)
We could track progress to demonstrate the potential of a low-cost online program at improving health and wellbeing. This would require the collection of certain data points before the start of the program, then possibly at 6 months and 12 months such as weight, height, exercise level, diet, mindfulness practice, self-reported wellbeing…
The program could run for 8 weeks (with high engagement) and possibly up to 6 or 12 months (with low engagement- the social support component only)
The important criteria for me to run such a group are:
That there is a demand for it (about 50-100 participants willing to commit time and effort)
That it doesn’t become too time-demanding for me (I can offer about 3 hours per week)
That I find volunteers who are willing to help me (by running some discussion groups, by editing and uploading videos, by organising weekly sessions…)
Remember the purpose of this is to design a low-cost (requiring the least human resources and financial resources) digital program that could be run by anyone later if provided with the content.

If you answered 6 and above on all of the above statements, then you are a suitable candidate for this program. If you answered between 4 and 6 for some of the statements and you are interested in exploring this program, you are welcome to join too.
It would be ideal if you can bring one or two friends or colleagues or family members to join the program with you.

NB: Please keep in mind that this online group will be a positive space to learn, discuss health and wellbeing, grow and improve. This means we will keep any conversations about negative events happening in the world outside this program. You are free to discuss these on your personal social media platforms.
